FLOW

The most important liquid in the world is water; there is no life without water. Water flow is an important facility which can be founded easily, but there are a number of factors which impede water flow. Pollution water flowing from rivers, wells, lakes and other water resources are results of human waste inadvertently. This pollution cause many problems because we drink water contaminated without knowing it contains germs. More than 5 million people each year die because of contaminated water.
Over the globe there is 72% which is covered by water but not all water is drinkable. Humans can find water and make it useful for all people and countries.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flow_(psychology)) At the same time the process of making water drinkable needs efforts and money, which makes it difficult to some countries and people who do not have facilities and money. India and Somalia are some examples of these countries which can not buy water which then forces them to drink and use contaminated water. These poor countries are suffering from a wide range of diseases which is caused by contaminated water. It starts with simple diseases and with uneducated people and with no knowledge these diseases can be developed in the human body and become fatal. All over the world there are lots of people who die of diseases caused by water contamination.(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGd9D4J0lag) In addition people can be affected by eating crops that are irrigated by contaminated water.

Water pollution is one of the first topics of concern in the field of scientists; there are two reasons for water pollution; first the importance of water. Water is included in all biological processes and industrial; organisms cannot live without it. The second reason is because water covers more than 70% of the earth's area. There are many factors which cause water pollution. One of them is contaminated rain water, that leads to ocean and sea pollution, which leads to poisoning of marine organisms; also it affects humans. Another source is sewage. Sewage is contaminated with soap, detergents, and some types of harmful bacteria and microbes, and when you move the sewage into rivers and lakes(http://www.usbr.gov/pmts/hydraulics_lab/pubs/wmm/) that may lead to pollution as well. Industry waste is another source of water pollution. They include the bits and pieces of food factories, chemical and synthetic fibers, which lead to water pollution. The fourth factor is nuclear reactors. They cause heat pollution of water, which harmfully affects the environment and their lives. Pollution resulting from oil spill to the sea and ocean is a result of the sinking of tankers. Among the reasons for pollution of sea water is also oil. During search operations and searching at the end of the sixties oil flowed from the shores of the United State of America, and it resulted in a large oil slick eight hundred miles long in the Pacific Ocean, and this led to the deaths of countless seabirds and dolphins, fish and marine organisms as a result of pollution.

The technology and the difference in the sector

In the past the study was hard because the teaching was without technology and they used different items(http://0-find.galegroup.com.library.hct.ac.ae/srcx/retrieve.do). Nowadays, with the technology the study and the teaching are easier than the past. The technology has made a difference in the world and it helps all of the people in the world.

The technology is used to make everything easy and fast; for example the computer is the best technology. The computers are very useful and they are used in all sectors. The ADMC chooses this technology in the college to make the teaching and the study easier and faster and they use this technology to be different from other colleges or universities and schools. In the ADMC the computer is more important than the other technology, because with the computer you can make many different things and you cannot join the ADMC without the computer. With the computer technology you can save your work for all your study years. The teaching with the computer is more useful and the teacher can use the computer for his work and also he can save his lesson before the class and after it.

The computer has a lot of items which help such as Microsoft office and this includes word, excel, PowerPoint and front page. With these items you can make your work easier, better and faster and it makes a difference in the business subject. The computer helps the teacher in the presentation of the lesson to make the lesson so easy and more exciting. With the computer the ADMC can register the student and no one can play with the information .Also the computer helps the students with their homework and for study and it helps them to learn more activities such as typing and making presentations for business lessons.

The computer can also be used in other companies not only in the ADMC. The companies used the computer and it makes a big difference. The computer can help these companies in their work; for example they can make advertisements for their work and use printers to print the advertisements and share them. The business company can use the internet with the computer to report to other companies and to share their information on the internet web site. They can also be connected with other companies by this technology. The computer software(www.library.hct.ac.ae) can organize the companies’ work with some Microsoft Office and the business work needs a lot of organization to get all information by one click and it is easy to reach it. The computer has a big memory and that helps the companies to save all their work on it and cancel the files that they don’t need and when they need the files they go and search for it and it takes a lot of time; by the computer they can find that information by one click and it’s easy and faster than the old system.
The technology makes a difference in the business sector(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer). The owner of the business can be connected with his company or with his business from home and he can check all his work and send all his instructions while he sits at home or in a café. The computer technology has changed the world and helps all sectors and particularly in the business sector.

Bugatti and Porsche 911 turbo

The comparing

The sports cars are very fast and expensive. There are two cars which I will compare. The first one is the Bugatti and the second car is the Porsche 911 turbo. They are both famous.
The super cars have some similarities and differences. The first similarity is they are coupes (two passengers only) and they are used for the race. The other thing is that have a nice balance in the street, and they have also comfortable seats so that the passenger can be more relaxed while he drives.
There are some similarities as we know and there are also some differences. The first difference is the price. The Bugatti price is $1.6 M(www.rsportscars.com/bugatti) and the Porsche 911 price is $500,000. The second difference is the horse power. The Bugatti is 1001hp and the Porsche 911 is 480hp. Another difference is the top speed. The Bugatti top speed is 253 mph(www.rsportscars.com/bugatti/2009) and the Porsche 911 is 200mph. The final difference is the weight. The Porsche is lighter than the Bugatti which is 3750lb for the Porsche 911 and 5000lb for the Bugatti.
There are some interesting points. One of the points is the Bugatti engine has carbon parts and they use special wheels to avoid blowing up of tyres. The interesting point about the Porsche is that they used a turbo for the gasoline engine(http:www.autos.aol.com/cars-Porsche-911-2009)and it’s something new for the Porsche to use it and it gives the same power of a petrol engine. Also they use a high performance brake which can stop in seconds from a high speed.
The two supercars are made for the rich people who have money and can buy them. Not all of the sports cars are for races. Some of them are made for pride.

Bahrain park splashes out

The Bahrain water park is the one that is built on top of the biggest mall in the country(Bahrain). The water park covers over 15000 sq m and it has a lot of interesting areas; it has a restaurant, large party room, wave pro, and an outlet selling swimming apparel. The water park can be accessed directly from the mall. The water park has two areas; one is the outdoor and the other is indoor; the outdoor is more fun; it has more than 10 different rides and slides with varied levels of intensity. It can be accessed by adults and children. The water park uses a lot of water: about 24,000 liters per day. The water park will be exciting and good for the country to make money, but at the same time it’s harmful for the environment because it uses a lot of water which causes a lot of problems.

summary of natural paradise gets protection

There are many natural places and we must save them. One of these places is the Hajar Mountains and it is the home of many plants and animals. The area was established in Fujairah. It has been a long time since the country protected the mountains. The government has banned hunting in this area and dropping the trash. Wadi Warayah has a scenic waterfall and it is a place that attracts tourists. The Wadi is also home to freshwater fish. The project must be run by the local people and they must work like rangers to catch whoever will break the law. The UAE has a plan to protect these areas like Wadi Wurayah and they are in contact with the WWF. If we protect this place then we can protect other places and it will be a nice place to visit and to sit there and see the natural view.

Main idea: 1: It's important to save natural areas.
2: Natural areas are like paradise; we must protect them.

My opinion:
1- This article is very good because it has a lot of words that I learnt and it is new for me.
2- I didn't know before the Hajar mountains are beautiful like that, as the article says.

summary of dyslexia

Dyslexia is a problem with processing specific information and it is caused by eye wobble. They cannot write the word correctly and also spell some words wrong. Technology will help children and the scientists are researching to help them also. Dyslexia is not a disease. The scientists said it is a brain difference like left-handedness. One of the professors met with government officials to prepare for a trial of the hi-tech specs in primary schools. Eye wobble is not obvious to the naked eye. The hi-tech specs, are worn for only a few minutes during tests. They are most accurate technique we have for detecting the amount of eye wobble. Dyslexia can be assessed by children mostly aged seven to twelve and sometimes for all ages. If we get children early and do some exercises they will be able to improve and can control their eyes.

Main Idea:
1-The dyslexia in children and what will happen in future.
2-The dyslexia and now to heal it.

My opinion:
1-The article is good and it's new for me and I learnt some new information.
2-The article is interesting.

summary- the junk food

The junk food is the food that is cooked fast and doesn't take a long time to finish the cooking. These days all media are talking about the junk food and the disadvantages of it. Some of the fast food restaurants sell a burger and fizzy drink that has a lot of fat and carbohydrates which causes a health problem. There are some restaurants which are good but not too many. McDonalds is the most famous fast food restaurant that sells a burger and other restaurant is Joni Rockets they both sells burger but Joni Rockets is better than McDonalds because the fat in their meals lower than McDonalds and they cook the burger in front of you that you can see what they do. According to the scientists the fast food is hurmful to health and we must define food more carefully.

Main Idea:
1-The junk food is not healthy and we should stop eating it.

My opinion:
1-The article is good because there is information about junk foods and at the same time it is boring a little bit because there are a lot of words which are not necessary.
